As regular freelance contributors to a number of magazines in the UK, Fashion People Gail Little & Belinda Alexander’s fashion expertise is taking them further afield. They are to join the pages of a glossy publication in South Africa. Following recent trips, to Cape Town they have secured a monthly column writing “Postcards from Europe” for Shop! Magazine, part of South Africa’s Media 24 publishing group. “I met with the Editor during my last visit & we expect this arrangement to expand even further” says Gail. “Our first contribution will feature London Fashion Week when we will report on what to look out for in Spring/Summer 07. South Africa’s fashion industry is growing fast – like everything else there. It’s good to be a small part of it. ”

Fashion People Gail & Belinda are also taking their business one step further by hitting the ocean waves. They have been invited to join cruise liner Saga Rose as guest speakers next month when they will be giving the ship’s clients style tips for the coming season & Christmas period. They will join the ship in Rome & visit Dubrovnik before departing in Venice.

Gail & Belinda have been in business for over 5 years and have seen their unique business grow over that time. They have appeared regularly on regional & national television & radio. They are Shopping Angels at Gateshead’s Metro Centre & work with other retail outlets throughout the UK. In addition they still service their growing number of private clients as Personal Shoppers & Wardrobe Detoxers. Some of their clients even insist on a confidentiality clause. “As well as working in the north, we also have southern based clients” said Belinda. “In fact next week Gail & I will be working on the same day with different clients in London’s Selfridges! We shall be even assisting helpless businessmen with their Christmas shopping.”
